Today I am going to discuss two of the top gaming devices from ASUS. Specifically Asus Rog 6 Pro VS Asus ROG 5. I will compare both Smartphones in terms of design, build quality, display features, performance, hardware, camera features, battery life, gaming features and other things That you should consider while choosing between Asus Rog 6 and Asus Rog 5.

ASUS ROG 6 Pro vs ASUS ROG 5: Which Has the Bette

ASUS ROG 6 Pro 5G and ASUS ROG 5 are packed with top line specs and features. It is very difficult to decide which one you should go for. like Both Asus Smartphones go side by side in Screens, Batteries, and Design. Asus ROG Phone 6 has a slightly larger display than ROG Phone 5. But  the ROG phone 6 pro has an upgraded Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor that may appeal to competitive gamers. Where both smartphones have limited camera capabilities, we can see ASUS ROG Phone 6 Pro is a more durable build with Gorilla Glass Protection whereas ROG 5 is a traditional mobile phone with sharp edges.

ASUS ROG 6 Pro and ASUS ROG 5 both have charming gaming phone designs. If you look at the design and shape of the phones you will notice that ASUS has made a huge effort to make them attractive for the people who are fond of the beautiful gaming designs.

Both smartphones feature RGB lighting, attractive highlights, text and have approximately the same physical specifications. Like both have 6.78-inch screens, weigh just under 239g and are 10.3mm thick. This thickness works well when playing mobile games in a horizontal position. As a result it’s unlikely that the design between the two will significantly influence your decision.

Both devices also have impressive screen specifications that make them excellent gaming phones. The ROG Phone 6 Pro has a special refresh rate of 165Hz if we compare it to ROG Phone 5 comes up with 144Hz.

When it comes to the screen specifications both are similar as both have 6.78-inch AMOLED panels that support 10-bit color and HDR10+

ROG 6 pro and ROG 5 screens are made with Gorilla Glass Victus providing durability. 

These punchy and vivid displays are ideal for gaming although their 1080p resolution is not comparable with other flagship phones.

ROG 5 runs on Android 11 with the ROG UI while the ROG 6 Pro runs on Android 12 with the ROG UI 5.0. ROG UI is designed for gaming and offers a unique interface that includes game centric features such as the Armoury Crate app and Game Genie. ROG UI 5.0 is an updated version that provides a cleaner interface along with several new features like improved Game Genie and one handed mode.   2. Whearas the ASUS ROG 5 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset which is also top level chipset and includes a 2.84 GHz octa-core processor built on a 5 nm manufacturing process. This phone comes with two variants one of 12GB and second 16GB of RAM.

These two smartphones can easily handle heavy games and applications and the high amount of RAM ensures smooth multitasking and speedy app launches. ASUS ROG 6 processing power and memory is better when compared to ROG 5 but the ASUS ROG 5 is still a great device that can handle any task you assign.

If you prioritize improved camera performance and faster charging the ASUS ROG 6 Pro may be your better choice. If your concern is a more affordable and budget friendly option you can go for ROG 5.
